Appointments

In light of the current circumstances we find ourselves in with COVID-19 – all appointments will be dealt with by telephone unless a Doctor requests for you to come for a face to face appointment.

No appointments will be made at the front door. All appointments are to be made by telephone at 8:30am on that same day.

Appointments

All of our appointments are book on the day. This means ringing at 8:30am on the day that suits to make the appointment if there is one available. We ask that you try to remain with the same doctor you have seen previously.

Please remember each appointment is for 10 minutes and for 1 problem only.

Urgent

If you feel you need seen on the day for an URGENT problem and there are no available appointments on the day, a duty doctor will call you back to give telephone advice or arrange a suitable time to come in for examination.  Please be prepared to give some information about your condition to the receptionist to allow the doctor to judge the urgency of the call.

Telephone appointments

All the doctors have a few telephone appointments on the day they are working. The doctors are happy to take routine telephone queries and these calls will be returned from 12 noon onwards. Please remember the appointment day and approximate time so that you will be able to take the call. Some telephone appointments aren’t available that day and you will be offered the next routine call.

Home visits

The doctors will make home visits to those patients who are unable to come to the surgery because of the severity of their illness or because of disability. Please help the doctor to help you.
If it is possible to attend the surgery please do so.

Requests for home visits should be made before 11AM if possible.
This allows the doctor to plan their calls efficiently.

Please be prepared to give some information about your condition to the receptionist to allow the doctor to judge the urgency of the call. Please ensure you give the correct address.
